Camgenium has undertaken C2-Ai’s technical work since the company's inception in 2008. Since 2022, Camgenium has taken over responsibility for all medical model development. In July 2025 Camgenium acquired the full IP and product portfolio of C2-Ai.

The C2-Ai platform is currently implemented in over 20 NHS trusts, leveraging cutting-edge AI analytics tools to provide actionable insights to improve patient care and increase efficiencies in hospitals across the UK. Camgenium provides highly detailed reports for each hospital assessed, covering patient outcomes across inpatient medicine, surgery, and maternal & neonatal care. Each report contains recommendations for improvement work that will benefit patients and achieve cost efficiencies.
